Plex Server Crashes with NUC

Hi Everyone,

Long time plex user here but have finally caved in and wanted to ask for some help!

so my set up is:

Plex server - Intel NUC - i5, 16gb ram, 256gb ssd
Media Stored - Synology NAS 918+ 32TB

i used to run plex on the NAS but needed to access remotely and the synology is behind a vpn, so i bought the NUC as an ideal replacement. it worked great for a long while with a 128gb HDD but windows / plex kept filling it up with temporary files causing it to freeze, become unresponsive and crash. i moved over to Ubuntu for a while and although it worked, i couldn’t get it to keep the NUC cool enough so i bought a 256GB SSD and since then i haven’t looked back. size doesn’t appear to be an issue at present - around 200gb left of 237gb. however today it crashed, it had been up and running for 1 day and around 15-16 hours at the point to where it crashed.

Ive checked windows logs - nothing showing that’s alarming, i was wondering if someone could look at my logs and let me know if there is a problem and anything i can do to fix it?

almost all local devices can play the files as is so no need to transcode so not much pressure on the device. i have a couple of remote users but that’s evening times mainly and for it to go off middle of the day is just a bit odd.

if anyone can advise on anything that would be great!

Ive checked that it isn’t over heating and RAM is plenty to use (over 10gb available most of the time)
