Plex Server Database/Program folder size out of control

Server Version#:4.125.1
Player Version#: n/a
So I am running a home server for the household and have a fairly large set of libraries at this point, however it is not anything totally crazy (total of approx… 15 TB of stored material at this point) and the Plex Server database/program folder is getting totally out of control. At the point of writing this post, it is 101 GB with a total of 113.900 files. This seems rather excessive to me. One because it is fairly complex to move the whole database/program folder in first place, second because this is A LOT just to organize the files and their metadata unless Plex is storing actual video data within the program folder (which as far as I can see it does not).

So I guess my question is, one can we have Plex address the whole database/program folder location and move feature so that addressing this growing storage need for just running the library management, and two would it not be an idea to address the general approach to library management with a more legitimate database service hosting all these files/data in a more organized fashion rather than all the thousands and thousands of files in a NTFS volume?

P.S. mine is 194 GB at the moment

Yikes, and thanks for the links.

It would be great if we could have video generated previews on a title by title basis rather than library level, that could fix a significant amount of storage issues since there are numerous titles I would not care them being there or not, where as others I very much enjoy them.

Guess the db move is my next step, gotta get a new larger dedicated SSD, too bad though, the boot NVME gave great performance.
