Three issues after update and multiple restarts:
Going into the dashboard shows “There was an unexpected error loading the dashboard” (Not a big deal)
Trying to edit any item “There was an error editing this item”
When going into any item “There was an unexpected error loading this item”
Running plex version 1.8.1.4139 on Mac OS X El Capitan 10.11.6.

Your Plex database is borked

You can try to repair it

Or restore an older backup of it

Although I’d perform the repair procedure with the restored database as well, because the damage may already be growing inside it.
