It is pretty self-explanatory, the server crashes every night likely at 2:00AM where the scheduled tasks run, by crash I mean I am unable to access it from any device whether it is the browser or it is the android client, to fix it I have to restart the Plex Server Plug-In in my TrueNAS every day. I do not understand what the issue it exactly, and it has been consistent for way too long.
I am running it on TrueNAS Core -12.0-U5.1
Fujitsu i5-3250M, 8GB RAM
99% of the usage is direct play videos and rarely off site music streaming, and the server has zero issues the entire day after it is restarted every day, so the hardware isn’t that bad.
