Roku have replied saying that they have passed the request to their Engineering Team. We will need to wait for that. It may be necessary to get fresh diagnostics - but we need to wait for their next response
We have recently added fixes for a number of crashes - let me know if the frequency has reduced after upgrading to 7.11.2
Fix a possible crash during playback.
Fix a possible crash viewing a details screen.
Fix a possible crash when clicking the Play button on a details screen.
Fix a possible crash when deleting a DVR Show or Episode.
Fix a possible crash when loading the Cast & Crew hub.
If the crashes are continuing with this version as well, please get me a fresh set of diagnostics as before - server / roku app logs plus the roku event id for retrieving any crash reports
I’ll away from home until early January.
That said, I’ll have access to another Roku while in away and will let you know if there is anything to update.
FYI, what I don’t see in the above list is fixes, is this the Plex Roku app sliws down to the point it’s nearly unresponsive before crashing (during playback).
Thanks for letting me invite if the fixes and I’ll let you know if there are fewer crashes - FYI, I avoid most crashes now by exiting the Plex app when Plex responds slowly to my actions, ie. Move through the menu, pause, skip Forward/back etc.
