Plex Server Not Responding after power outage

Server Version#:1.23.0.4459
Player Version#:

We had a bad wreck near the house and it took out power for a while. Server went down.

Machine is back up, everything else is working on it, but for some reason the Plex server isn’t working. It thinks it is, meaning this is the logs:

May 04 08:55:25 plex systemd[1]: Starting Plex Media Server...
May 04 08:55:25 plex systemd[1]: Started Plex Media Server.

and the service is running fine in systemctl

however if I try to hit it normally with the apps, or if I try the IP:32400/web either the server is ‘not responding’ or I get the spinning circle in my web browser.

Tautulli is also reporting ‘connection aborted’ and other similar communication errors.

I’ve restarted it a few times, tried everything I can think of. Any one got any tips?

tried curling from the server and I get

[root@plex log]# cur localhost:32400/web
bash: cur: command not found...
[root@plex log]# curl localhost 32400/web
<html>
<head><title>502 Bad Gateway</title></head>
<body bgcolor="white">
<center><h1>502 Bad Gateway</h1></center>
<hr><center>nginx/1.14.0 (Ubuntu)</center>
</body>
</html>
curl: (7) Couldn't connect to server
  1. curl http://127.0.0.1:32400/identity will tell you if the server is up and still claimed.

  2. Stop Plex, Manually make a tar.gz of the Logs directory and attach here.

After doing this, I got some output, and like an idiot I failed to save it.

I then refreshed my ip:/32400/web and it made me ‘setup’ the server as if new, give it name, but it found my libraries, etc, and after I refreshed the pins on the Home Screen to the ‘new’ server everything is back to ‘normal’.

no idea what happened, but, it’s back up except for that minor issue of now having to refresh my clients.
