Server running, but stops responding

Start PC, Plex server is running, clients can connect. Somewhere over the next week or so, clients see a dead server. But the Task Manager shows Plex Media Server (32 bit) is running. The local web page does not load - http://127.0.0.1:32400/web.

Kill the server and relaunch the app. The server starts up in Task Manager, still appears dead, but after 10 to 15 minutes the local web page will load.

Where to begin fixing this?

Dead again. No response when opening the Plex web page, on the same PC as the Plex server is running. Task Manager shows the server is running and consuming CPU cycles. Doing what? Killing the server and manually restarting, still dead. Reboot the PC, the server works again. Rinse and repeat about once a week.

Your server version is relatively old.
There were several updates released in between which might have helped.

Updated to newest server. Within a week, dead again, cannot open local web page and clients cannot connect. Using almost 13% CPU though?

I got drastic and it seems to have worked. Completely uninstalled Plex server, reboot, reinstalled, set up the configurations, folders, etc. and it has been running for weeks now without locking up.
