Triple. Triple instances. The reasons are my own. They are clearly described in the discussion above.

Enable local network discovery (GDM)
Enable “G’Day Mate” discovery. This is used to allows Plex apps and Servers to find each other automatically on a local network.

I’m telling that it’s not a 24/7 enterprise software.

Turned off already. Didn’t help.
Will check DLNA turn off today
I’m telling that it’s not a 24/7 enterprise software.
No one claimed it is.

A lot of peple did. Insisted it’s ok that it prevents sleep due to the fact it’s a “server” software. Nope, it’s not. It’s not enterprise software so it shouldn’t prevent sleep of the host machine.
… o.O
Turned off already. Didn’t help.
You checked both servers?

I think part of the problem here is you mistakenly think Enterprise Software and Server are the same thing.
you are right, I guess I just don’t consider that working correctly. If what you had was what you wanted, then it was correct for you, I will leave this point be.

Not me. Others. Me - no.
Did you check if that GDM setting was enabled? Also check if the Plex DLNA server is running. These can keep other PMS instances awake too.
Curious. Seems that turning off DLNA has helped. Will double-check that today. And if it’s really the cause will try to locate it more precise. Which setting in DLNA prevents PC sleep? Is it PC DLNA or iMac DLNA to blame? After that will continue to checking vise versa behaviour - will a PC PMS prevent iMac sleep.

OK, and that is what this thread is about…
we want to save the energy it takes to power systems that are not being used, and Plex is preventing that.
And in all the threads about this subject, Plex has not responded with any reason why.

As for me, I want my wife NOT to wake me up to turn off computer in the middle of the night due to the fans of my PC too loud when PC didn’t turned off automatically after she was watching her shows till midnight.
