This issue is a strange one. I have been a plex user for 7 years now and this just started happening 8 months ago. I will be in the middle of watching a movie or show and the show will just stop like it is completed. If I am watching a movie, it will go back to the movie page. I then have to select resume and it picks right back up where it left off. If I am watching a show, it will just start the next episode. I can select the last episode and again, it remembers where it stopped. This happens on every movie or show, new or old, and is very sporatic. Sometimes I can watch for days and this does not happen. Sometimes it will happen 3 times during a one hour episode. This happens on PC browsers, Roku App and on Firestick. This happens if I am in my home network or watching remote. I have checked and my server is up to date.
Troubleshooting I have done so far.

I thought this might be a transcoding issue so I purchased a new server. This behavior followed to the new server

I thought this might be a problem with not being able to handle the resolution, so I moved everything back to 720. This did not fix the issue

I went back to an older server version. This did not fix the issue.
My setup is pretty simple. I am running a windows 10 server for plex. My media is storage is on a TERRAMASTER F2-210. Both are wired into my home network.
Has anyone seen this type of behavior before? Again, this was all working great until about 8 months ago. Nothing changed as far as the hardware or network.
