@rcketscientist Sorry been a long time since I’ve been on the forums. So away mode under plex settings worked in keeping the plex machine asleep?
@rcketscientist or is away mode under media in advanced power plans set to off?
I’m not at the server right now, but I think this is what happens: Away mode works until you open the web console from the server (locally). Once I do that it seems to never release away mode. I’m not sure if accessing the web console remotely does the same thing.
I think what I’ve been doing is leaving away mode on. If I access the web console locally then I actually restart the plex server. I finally have a reasonably reliable power scheme even on Windows.
**Edit: Come to think of it, I should try logging out to see if that releases the web console connection (hypothesizing that is what locks away mode) without a restart.
