Plex settings unavailable during database optimization

Server Version#: Version 1.25.3.5409
Player Version#: N/A

So I’m having issues after downgrading my server. I recently shifted from a x570/5900x to a b550i/3600 for saving some electric bill. I also have a p2200 which has also been repurposed for the server.
The Dockers didn’t play too well and I had to recreate all of them after migration. Now whenever I try to optimize my database (periodically between scans/restarts) my server becomes unavailable including settings and console. I restart the docker and it runs till again the optimizer runs after which it needs another restart. I didn’t think a 6C/12T processor would be the issue. Anyone else having same issues or can someone shone some light?

Yes, the database is locked during optimization.

How large is your database file, and how long does optimization take?

Thanks for the reply. I’ve been in between servers. Parts got delayed so I bulit the server on a windows machine. Didn’t do too well so now I’m using the Unraid server. I’m currently away from home and running most of it remotely via browsers. Initially when I added files and put it to optimization the server would hang midway. I am a self acclaimed data hoarder and well i have about 1000 series 6000 movies spanning over 6 libraries. Now once the entire database is made it takes 2-5 minutes so i guess I’m good.
I’m still waiting for my NVME (gen3) and hoping migrating the appdata and database isn’t a big problem.
Since it’s not a server which does many thing apart from Plex and a few more Dockers i decided to repurpose some parts.
