I've got quite a lot of stand alone shows on my server, and i was wondering if you guys where thinking of adding a shuffle option into the app. since it's stand alone the you don't have the same order of episodes playing.
Like a programming it so that it would isolate viewed files from non viewed and then shuffle the non viewed files randomly to appear on whatever device you are using. I don't have the logistics quite worked out yet like where would you put such a function, should it be on the device itself or pre selected for the show in the server app. The second one would be more convenient as you could make it so it adds a menu in between selecting the show and the episode list with a 'shuffle episodes' button.
It's not that this should necessarily be done or anything, but i think it could add to the experience of watching a show like the Simpsons or any other show that has quite a lot of episodes build up over the seasons.
