When it comes to identifying an album as a single entity, Plex is using a combination of album title and album artist. If you’ve set the same album title but no album artist and possibly different track artists, those will be identified as different albums.
Seeing that this is a multi-disc album: is the disc number tagged properly in all files of that album?
Don’t use the xx/yy notation for track number/total tracks. There is a separate metatag for the total track count of the disc.
(the same applies to disc number, btw.)

All the tracks in all the splits have exactly the same grandparentTitle and parentTitle prameters. Here is a paste from 3 different tracks in 3 different splits of the same album:
Split 1 = grandparentTitle=“Bartok” parentTitle=“Divertimento, Dance Suite, Hungarian Sketches,Two Pictures”
Split 2 = grandparentTitle=“Bartok” parentTitle=“Divertimento, Dance Suite, Hungarian Sketches,Two Pictures”
Split 3 = grandparentTitle=“Bartok” parentTitle=“Divertimento, Dance Suite, Hungarian Sketches,Two Pictures”
As you can see all 3 are the same.

The sample I gave is from one album on one CD
as for the xx/yy notation for tracks: it is the same for all albums and some of the albums are split and some are not.
All the tags are made by the MusicBee software. The display on the Musicbee desktop is perfect with no splits.
So there must be some other reason for Plex to split the albums
Thanks
