I have just installed latest Plex Media Server to my Synology 1515.
Just asking does Plex upload my photos to cloud , be it as a backup or for sync purpose?
If yes, i can stop my google drive subscription 
The only way Plex will copy your files is if you use the Sync function, which will only copy the files to the device you specify (phone or tablet, for example). Other than that, it doesn’t back up, copy, move, or edit your files.
Isn’t sync photo a premium feature?
Yes, I think it is. I didn’t notice the OP doesn’t have Plex Pass.
