*.plex.tv SSL certificate expired?

Hi,

My antivirus is alerting me, that the *.plex.tv SSL certificate has expired. Anyone else seeing this?

Looks like your antivirus doesn’t know how to compute dates. It’s says it valid from 6/5/14 to 9/5/17 and it’s only 5/9/17. <-- assuming this is month/day/year

I’m using Danish region on my PC (dd-mm-yyyy). Mozilla Firefox and Internet (Explorer/Edge) shows the same (without antivirus). Hmm, strange …

Tried an online SSL checker … SSL has expired on metrics.plex.tv:

Either way it’s off since today is May 9th and the cert should still be valid until midnight.

BTW, when I look at the cert on my computer I’m seeing the dates 4/30/2017 to 5/6/2019.

Are you logging into your computer or to https://app.plex.tv/web/app# ???

Carlo

Yes, i always use https://app.plex.tv/

Hmm, this is getting stranger … now the dates shifted on the SSL certificate (valid SSL). If it was renewed today, the “valid from” date would also be today. Could be an “old” certificate …

Well at least you’re good for a few years now! LOL

https://cordcutter.plex.tv/ is legit expired though.

Yeah. Here it shows, that the certificate expired the 9th May 02:00 PM.

It sounds like Plex is using multiple certificates for the same domain names…perhaps some PKI cleanup and reorganization would be helpful.
