Plex Update Notifications?

I could not find this feature at all. I understand that when Plex has an available update it tells you in the browser window. However, I would really like to get an email, text, etc. When ever an update is available, because I am not always checking my Plex Server every single day.

  • If this is already a feature please do tell. Or if there is a plugin that does this I would love to know that as well.

It would be nice if the mobile app would just notify you yes

The Android mobile app already does that.

For server updates? Also not everyone likes android

I’m pretty sure it will eventually come to iOS too.

Other than that, as @flow mentioned above, there is always this thread Plex Media Server to which you can subscribe.
