Pardon me if there is another thread about this feature request. I have honestly looked for it and I cannot find it anywhere. My feature request is about Plex Notifications. There are not enough notification features that should be already implemented and available within the plex system environment.
Notification Examples: (Thinking that you could get the notification through either: iphone, android, roku, consoles, windows, apple within the plex app)
Movies. A notification (with sent options) has been sent to all devices of a new movie or multiple movies have recently been added to the plex server for the selected users. This notification can also work for: updated, deleted content if is necessary.
TV Shoows. A notification (with sent options) has been sent to all devices of a new episode/serie or multiple episodes/series that have recently been added to the plex server for the selected users. This notification can also work for: updated, deleted content if is necessary.
Music. Same procedure as above.
Channels. Same procedure as above.
It will be really nice to see that you get a notification from your plex server to your smartphone or to the selected shared content users smartphones that a new movie, tv show, music content has been recently added to the plex server.

Sadly there is nothing that will natively send direct to the client app… but there are something like 20 different notification methods available in PlexPy. Pushover, Pushalot, Twitter, Facebook etc…
