Earlier this year I built a Plex mini server on a Pi4 using a external HD to hold my data. The system was used at home via my network and in my RV. When initially tested in the RV I was wirelessly connected to my house network via my home router. Recently we lost power and internet with Hurricane Zata. I used the RV generator to power up the server but could not see it on the network. I tried to access the server via PC, smartTV and Roku. None worked. I even tried connecting a monitor to the Pi4 via an HDMI. No Luck. There are some other posts that suggest possible solutions by changing certain settings but this is just adding to the confusion. Is there a way to set up Plex to operate without the internet via SmartTV or Roku? That is my main use with my internal system.
