Thanks for updating this. Getting Plex onto Quest would be ideal, both for personal viewing and for using it as a demo for other people who don’t have any kind of VR viewer yer (which is a pretty big use case for me). Having to go through a browser for practically anything is challenging in the best case, and usually underwhelming in actual use.

Yes, please get Plex on the Quest! There is no excuse of lack of technology. And popularity wise it is hard I get your hands on one because they are getting sold out. Please do it! Don’t let Netflix beat you.

Really? You can port to the Go but not the Quest? You guys are missing a golden opportunity, and honestly, you owe it to your community. I’ve had Plex for years and love it, but I am currently looking for alternatives for this very reason, and I think it would be a poor move business-wise not to make a simple port to retain your customers.

I’d pay for a quest Plex app. I however will stop paying for Plex pass it there isn’t one here soon. It’s litterally the same as the go. Like it doesn’t take much effort to port. I am so blown away that it isn’t already a thing.

I have been looking to get a VR headset and the Oculus Quest seems to be the best one to get.

Because there is no Plex support I will hold off any purchase of a VR headset.

There will not be an app for the Oculus Quest or any other VR device at this time. I have no information to share about whether there will ever be more devices supported.
