Plex Watchlist is missing TV shows, is there a way to manually add them?

I wrote about this previously but I am still having some frustrations with the Plex watchlist. I can not figure out how to add films/tv that are not listed on the Plex database. When I searched I only came up with how to add your own films and change the metadata so that they can be found. However, I am NOT adding a media server, I am just trying to add TV or films to my watch list. How does one do this manually? Sometimes I can find it if I google the program and “plex watchlist” and sort of go through a back door when it is not listed on the site. However, lately, that is not even working. I should mention most of the shows that are not listed that I am trying to add are from BBC.

Examples are: The Gallows Pole (BBC), Gender Wars (Channel 4), 60 Days on the Estates (Channel 4), The Days (Netflix), etc.

Plex gets most of the data from TheMovieDB, so first check there for the show you want. If it’s not there, then Plex won’t have it. Add it yourself to TheMovieDB and Plex will pick it up in a day or 2. Also, some really unpopular/obscure shows may not appear when you search for it.

The Gallows Pole and The Days are in Plex’s database and should be addable.
