Server Version#: 1.26.1.5772
Player Version#: Plex web 4.80.0 (officially hosted version)
At some point recently, Plex Web has begun hanging when some of the servers are not connectable. Timeouts seem to need to play out before the UI decides to actually display hubs on the default/selected server.
If I access the web UI directly from my local server, it loads instantly. If I access via app.plex.tv I have to wait for other missing servers to time out. Right now that period is 12-20s.
It’s hard to really provide useful logs here but it’s easily reproducible for me.
Here’s a screenshot of the waterfall from Firefox:
You can see when it finally loads on the far right. The UI waits and spins while a bunch of XHR’s to /media/providers are timing out to various servers it can’t access.
This seems to be a regression – the servers generally load in a parallel way and offline servers don’t block the UI from rendering.
