Plex won't open shows in the BBC iPlayer app on Apple TV

This is a continuation of the issue posted here and here. These topics are closed but I am still experiencing the issue.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Use the sidebar to open Search.
  2. Ensure “More Ways to Watch” is enabled in Search Settings.
  3. Search for a BBC show, “Have I Got News for You”, for example.
  4. Select the show on the “More Ways To Watch” rail.
  5. Under the “Watch from these locations” rail, select “BBC iPlayer”.
  6. Plex shows the “Unable to link to the title or service” error message.

Essentially, when selecting BBC iPlayer as the source for a TV show, Plex returns the error “Unable to link to the title or service”. It says the BBC iPlayer app can’t be found on the device and asks the user to install it even though the application is already installed, setup and working. I have tested apps from other companies (Apple TV, Amazon Prime Video, Netflix, etc) and these work fine.

I love the Discovery and Watchlist features but this little bug is very frustrating.

Yes, I can reproduce this with iplayer as well. Also, Arrow gives me the same error message. Disney and amazon work fine on my device.
