So a little help needed. Completely new to plex and running a seedbox. Have basically figured out how to import movies and shows. Movies I have no issue playing, however when I import TV shows and try to play them nothing happens. The data is found as I see the information, but when I click play it just keeps spinning and spinning. Today I received an H3 playback error after letting it spin for about 3 mins. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Mind sharing some more details, like…
- what version of PMS do you have installed and on what platform
- on what platform / Plex app are you trying to stream those files
- anything specific about those files → Investigate Media Information and Formats | Plex Support
To answer your questions, I am just viewing plex from inside my seedbox page on Safari Big Sur OS. There shouldn’t be any difference between these files and the movies files I have added to a movies folder as both the movies and tv shows are mkv files. Not sure if I mentioned, but I am very new to plex only 3 days of use, just curious why it is not playing tv shows I bring over, but it is playing movies.
