I have a Roku Ultra hat I use to watch programs from my Plex Server, which is on my Mac Mini. Many times when I start Plex on my Roku, it is not connected to my libraries on the Mac. I have a setting to open Plex on login on the Mac.
However, to connect my Roku, I have to go to my Mac and use the Plex icon on the toolbar and choose Open Plex… I see my libraries on the Mac, and then I can go back to the Roku and open the Plex app again, then I can see my libraries on the TV.
I don’t understand why the Roku doesn’t connect at all times with the libraries on the Plex Server on my Mac. I always keep the Mac running.
Any suggestions?
