Plex running fine on computer and TCL Roku TV but not on bedroom Roku Premiere

So I bought a new Mac Mini M4 and migrated my SSD from my Macbook pro that had been running our Plex server to the new mini. Everything seemed to work fine at first and still does for my TCL Roku TV in the family room, but our bedroom TV on our Roku Premiere that is in the next room does not want to connect most of the time. Sometimes ti does, most of the time it does not. Yet has no issues connecting to any other service and had no issue connecting to Plex before.

I can’t figure it out. I’ve signed in and our, reinstalled hte plex app, hard erase the Roku, turned the Plex server on and off, updated the Plex server, turned the Wifi off on the Mini and just tried the ethernet cable, turned the ethernet cable off and just tried and wifi. The only thing that works, is turning the Plex serve off and then on again, but only a while, then it doesn’t connect again. I can’t keeping doing that.And I never had to do that before.

Any ideas?

Nobody has any blue what is going on? This is driving us crazy. We’ve reinstalled the plex app on the Roku, we’ve updated the Plex app on the server. Rebooted the server, created a new user, etc. It will connect no problem to are TCL Roku TV but not our Roku premiere int he bedroom even though it did just fine before moving the Plex server to the Mac Mini M4.

I’m pulling my hair out trying to figure out what is wrong. Every other streaming service on the Roku I the bedroom works just fine only Plex does not work. It’s been weeks now.

Usually if I reboot the Roku by pulling the power cable for 30 seconds it clears most of the weird things when Roku apps are acting up; stuff that won’t even clear up after re-install or reboot via menu because Roku has a very persistent cache system - which is useful in other areas but can also hold onto bugs. Sounds like you’ve done all that already - and more.

Maybe grab some of the logs from Roku and Server? It might help folks get an idea on why one side or the other isn’t connecting up.
