Please post and like for feature requests to show interest. This topic is for us as Plex user and also to help Moussa, our beloved developper.

  • Write down as much information as you can, be descriptive.
  • Think how you would explain this feature to someone who has never thought of it.
  • Keeping in mind that the majority of people using Plex are not advanced users, is this a feature that only you and a small number of other advanced users would use or is it something that will be used by a majority of the userbase?

  • Better UI (we all know about it, don’t need more comments)
  • Add button mapping (like B to back, A to validate, X to switch Audio while playing, Y switch subtitles while playing)
  • Better libraries selection UI. Libraries can be displayed under the top menu
  • Better use of space when there is only one item in the “Contine Watching”
  • Xbox app in 1080p
  • Ability to use the Xbox app when internet is down (with local plex media server)
  • Size selection for subtitles — Completed
  • Add time duration and other meta data

Bump left vertical list of ungrouped libraries. (Like they used to be, only out of sight)

How about a normal FF and REW feature? The ‘skip’ is horrible.

Enabling subtitles (SRT,SUB/IDX) should not require transcoding.
Font/size selection for subtitles.

Fix the remote controls so it works like live tv remote. FF / RW buttons should work like they do on other platforms. Don’t use the directional pad for 30 second skip (that’s prev/next channel on OneGuide). Use the chapter control buttons for 30 second skip instead.
