Samsung S23 Ultra, latest update to One UI 5.1 1st Feb 2023 caused Plexamp n Plex to disappear from Android Auto. Have been using it with new phone for 2 weeks. Unable to locate it in Android Auto. It plays on phone, can cast to Google Smart Displays.
App is excluded from any power plans on Samsung battery app and no permission excluded.
Anyone knows if this is a Google problem or Plex?
Anyone who ends up here. My problem has self resolved. Rebooted twice and it did further UI update during bootup and fixed itself. Weird that it didn’t finish up its update and there was no indication anything was amiss. I was using Google news for the first time! Anyway, i did try clearing app cache for plex, plexamp, android auto, confirm permissions of said apps n did one reboot before posting. Happy plexing.
