According to today’s announcement, Plex will be removing the Music and Photos content functionality from the main Plex app in order to focus on content-specific apps. Neither Plexamp or the Plex Photo beta are supported on the Nvidia Shield platform, which leaves users of that platform with no solution for accessing their music or photo content on their Plex server. Is there a plan to resolve this?
Yep wondering the exact same thing. I use Plexamp for mobile and PC listening but the Android TV app remains much better than the built in chromecast on the TV for listening on my HT speakers.
