Plexamp Appimage Lost Icon(s)

I’m using the AppImage version on Linux Mint 21.3

After a recent update (I suspect it was when Plexamp upgraded to 4.10.1) I lost application icons. I.e. There’s no longer an icon associated with the application in my launcher menu, when it’s running in the panel/tray, or when I alt/tab to switch applications.

I’ve removed and re-added the AppImage. I also use AppImageLauncher to integrate AppImages into the system - but that hasn’t updated recently.

I was ultimately able to work around this by locating the .desktop file in /home//.local/share/applications, and found an icon there.

I’m not too familiar with how AppImages work, but you can see in my screenshot there are a number of appimagekit* files with the icon. Could the recent Electron change have also changed the package of an icon file?

I’m not sure what changed to have broken this, but we’re going to drop appimage support at some point in the future. I’d recommend using the Flatpak instead for a more integrated and seamless experience.
