Are there any plans to offer a beta program for PlexAmp like the Plex Server beta? I, for one, would like to sign up for testing the latest and (potentially) greatest builds and provide feedback.
That is an excellent question!
We’re working on getting two alternate release streams going (release/beta). The idea is to “force” employees and ninjas into it 
For others, we could do a few things:
- Advanced/hidden setting to enable beta builds.
- Account feature toggle we enable.
Something to think about…
Depends on how many beta testers you want. If you want the beta to spread like wildfire, with as many testers (and as much feedback) as possible, go down the path of the hidden setting. Then current beta users could tell others how to obtain the beta and so on and so forth.
If you want a tight group of beta users and more controlled/ordered feedback, go with the account feature toggle.
I’d definitely sign up for beta for PlexAmp. If anything, I’d love some way to offer some feedback on features or new ideas for the app.
