I’m a former Roon and Audirvana user. I’m loving PlexAmp. Its navigability is excellent, but what’s most incredible is the price. I’d like to offer my help to the community with testing and exploring the tool to make it the best and most affordable option.
I use a Windows 10 PC with an SMSL DAC connected to a Denon preamp and external Marantz amplification.
I noticed that the Windows version doesn’t have bitperfect, but it does on Mac and mobile devices. I also noticed that the spectrum visualizers need some attention, but I’ll focus on the important points. Bitperfect works on Plex and PlexAmp for Mac, but not on Windows.
Selecting the equalizers is fine, but when you turn off the equalization, it doesn’t revert to the flat state.
The equalization lacks a default (flat) option, which would allow me to simply turn it on, adjust it, and if I don’t like the result, just use the “default” to return the EQ to its original state.
