Plexamp does not play "Master" album from Tidal

I have Plexpass with Tidal Hifi.
I try to play: Jean-Michele Jarre’s “Equinoxe” with Plexamp.
(Have tried both on my Linux computer and on latest iOS)

If I do this:

  1. Search for Jean-Michel Jarre
  2. Click show all albums on Tidal
  3. Select “Equinoxe”
  4. Error message " Couldn’t start playback"

If I do this:

  1. Search for “Equinoxe”
  2. Select Tidal Album “Equinoxe”
  3. Then playback works, but it’s 44/16

If I use the Tidal app I get the Master version without problem

What is wrong?

Plex does not play the Tidal MQA files. You need to use the Tidal apps.

Then it would be very nice if either they didn’t show up in search or was somewhat marked as not supported. (Would prefer the last option.) This is actually very annoying.

Seems to be a specific issue with that album. I have not encountered that before. Some sort of error in populating the list of albums.
