I wonder why some equalizer presets set higher/lower number than that is available manually.
In this preset, the highs are at 12, which in reality you can change it only up to 10. Is this truly the intended feature?
Player Version#: 4.9.3
The presets are not created within Plexamp.
They are sourced from a community of enthusiasts who have created them on their own equipment.
i.e. these are community-generated, which means they can contain errors.
In my personal opinion, when I see an EQ profile with such extreme values, it raises suspicion that the methodology which was used was either wrong or there was a defective component in the signal chain.
But as long as it sounds good to your ears, by all means use that preset.
