PlexAmp - FFWD x seconds

I found a way to pull my Podcasts into Plex and that works fine. However, the Fwd button skips to the next track and trying to tap a spot on the track in not accurate.

Suggest one of two options:

  1. Add an option to FFwd x seconds

  2. Set genre as Podcast and PlexAmp change the FWD behavior to x seconds when track is a podcast genre.

In Settings → Experience → Player

  1. enable Music Quick Skip
  2. set the desired values for skipping forward/backwards in Quick Skip Times

In addition you can enable the Use Long-Form Controls option in that section. This will give you extended controls for content like audio books or longer podcasts.

I recommend to create a separate library in Plex for “long form content” (i.e. podcasts, radio shows, audio books etc.)

You can enable “store playback progress” in the properties of this library (you should NOT enable this in a regular music library).
Plexamp should adapt its player interface and enable the above jump buttons and two other features as well.

Do you know if there is a way to get the car view to use the quick settings?

Sorry. I’m not using Plexamp in car mode… no idea how it behaves with those preferences enabled.
