In my history in plexamp on different systems and different OS, it always shows a specific track as the most recently played under history, even if I haven’t played that track in ages. The rest of my history appears to be correct, but the most recent item is always this 1 specific track. Any ideas?
This is nothing specific to Plexamp.
Apparently, your server did not have correct time and date when you played this song.
It is probably logged in the database with a date set in the future.
This can only be solved by editing the database directly.
The relevant table is metadata_item_views. If you look in there for dates which are set in the future (careful, it uses UNIX epoch date format!) and edit it to a more sane number, it will vanish.
As OttoKerner mentioned, this is an issue with epoch date set in the future. I ran into the same thing awhile back and resolved it here: Music Track showing lastViewedAt in the future. Make sure you create a backup of you database before making any changes.
Thanks, you linked exactly what I needed to do!
Thank you for the quick and helpful response!
