After the last update of Plexamp the app jumps all the way back to the library as soon as you start playing a song, so you can´t for example go back to the release and check how many tracks you have left, or if you´re listening through a bunch of new releases, you can´t just go back to the search results and choose the next release after finishing with the first.
Extremely irritating! Very poor UI/UX. It feels like the developers working on Plexamp have never actually used a music player. Or probably have never even listened to music…
Would you mind to elaborate what exactly you see?
When I start playing some tracks (playlists, albums, stations…), Plexamp will bring up the “now playing” page. If I minimize that, it’ll bring me back to exactly the spot from where I started the stream. This includes previous search results etc.
Therefore I’m not sure if I’m doing something entirely different?!
As for seeing how many tracks you’ve left… isn’t that what Up Next on the now playing page is for?
Tom80H. if I press the downarrow to minimize the “Now Playing” page it has allready gone all the way back to the library tab, where (The list where you can choose Artists, Albums, Compilations etc.
What I expect to see is the release where I choose the track to play, same thing should show up when it has finished playing the release.
Maybe you haven´t updated to the latest version, this just started happening yesterday.
So you´re saying this is the correct channel for reporting bugs? I was trying to find a dedicated e-mail, github or something but without success. Just posting in the support forum and hoping it will get picked up feels kinda iffy!

I’m sure you were frustrated, but I have to chime in… the Plexamp team is amazing in my opinion and have created an awesome player… they are extremely responsive to bug reports and are making this the best streaming music player in the business with constant improvements. Comments like this are unwarranted and disrespectful to the development team. The fact that Plex still charges a minimal lifetime license for their software is hard to believe, what a steal at this point!
