While cruising in the car my PlexAmp in iOS is typically playing an album or custom playlist. It will very frequently start playing near the end of a song then jump right to the next song. This is annoying when listening to an album. Sometimes it will play a song for ~ 5 - 30 seconds, then skip back to the beginning. This is less annoying.
I’ve noticed that the Up Next will also display the song as ~ 95% already played.
Disable “Store track progress” in the properties of your music library.
Argh! I looked all over in the PlexAmp app for this settings. Silly me never thought to look in the server’s settings.
Why did you turn it on in the first place? I’m genuinely curious 
If I had turned it on I would have known where to turn it off.
It defaults to off, which is the only reason I’m asking.
It’s not something I believe I changed. It was working as desired until a couple weeks ago. I’ve been using PlexAmp since shortly after it was introduced and that Robert Miles album is something I play every now and then. It was one of the things that brought my attention to the odd behavior.
Wow, that makes very little sense as I’ve double and triple checked to make sure the default is off 
Hello, on weekend I stumbled about the same problem.
I cannot remember to have turnend on storing progress in the library.
So I turned it off and now it seems to work like expected.
