Plexamp: No album art when casting to Cambridge Audio CXN V2

When I cast to my Cambridge Audio CXN V2 with Plexamp, I don’t get album art.

• I do get album art on the Cambridge via e.g. YouTube Music and even more obscure apps like Radiogram (see images)
• I’m not using multiroom

The issue seems to be on the end of Plexamp. Do you have an idea if I could fix this myself? Or does this need to be fixed within Plexamp?

Unfortunately, Plex doesn’t seem to provide any images to Chromecast in the metadata.
Btw, do the “previous” / “next” buttons on the CXN work to skip tracks when casting like this?

I just checked and track skip is not working on the CXNv2 itself or on the remote. Not a biggie as I like controls via my phone.

Bit of a bummer that Plexamp doesn’t send images in the metadata to Chromecast…!

For my understanding, is this hard to implement? Is this something I could hope for in the future? Simpler apps like Radiogram seem to pull it of?
