Anybody else having issues with offline playback in Plex amp?
Have been using the pre cache of 40 tracks which is normally enough to get me through the day without mobile data (awesome idea), but thought I’d download some albums as a backup.
Went to play them back offline today and just got a spinning circle and no playback. Anybody else had this?
What platform? If Android, there was an early bug where we were saving the offline tracks to the cache region, which could sometimes get wiped, thus causing the issue. You can share debug logs to confirm.
It is Android. I’ve just realised theres a PMS update that hasn’t gone through on my machine too, so will run that and come back to you. If there’s no fix I’ll try and get some logs. Thanks!!!
Updated PMS, resynced content and voila. Odd, but great to have it working now. Keep up the great work with plexamp, it really makes my music collection pop. Cancelled my streaming service for this now.

It was our (read: my) stupidity and not realizing things could get whacked out of app’s cache directory willy nilly.
