Firstly, Plexamp is great! I would love to use it for podcasts, but i’m trying to figure out how/if speeding up playback works. In the ios app, i see there’s a little rabbit button to toggle on and off, which seems to be some kind of dynamic speed adjustment, but I still find it too slow (i prefer ~1.5x). Is there any way to adjust it to go faster?
Also, is this option available on the Mac Plexamp as well? I can’t find it.
Yes! It’s a smart silence compressor, which eliminates small periods of silence in a near-transparent way, so that essentially you get normal sounding audio, but less time spent playing the podcast.
