Plexamp scrobbling with last fm (offline)

I configured trakt to scrobble with last fm. This works fine when my device is online. Unfortunately this doesn’t work when I play offline content at Plexamp and then sync my data back. Then all my currently played songs got the identical timestamp at last fm. I think this behavior is kind of a bug. Can anyone help me with this?

Plexamp sends back the timestamps to the server, and the server puts them into the database with the times. Not sure what trakt is doing or how you configured it to work with Plex

Sorry for the typo

*I configured my Plex Server to scrobble with last fm.

We don’t seem to have a way to pass timestamp from the server to our cloud scrobble service. I would assume that means the Last.FM API doesn’t support it but not positive.

I just searched for the last fm api methods and found this:

https://www.last.fm/api/show/track.scrobble

If I understand correctly then it should be possible to send a timestamp that is not “now”. Can you confirm that?

Yep, makes sense. Filed an issue on our cloud service to allow passing it along. Then will need to add to the server. Might be a while, but hopefully in the pipeline now…

I’m using Plexamp on Android. How can I enable scrobbling?

I can’t seem to find any where to enter my last.fm credentials in the app.

You’ll need to do it for your account on the web.

@elan How do I know the feature will finally be added? Do you post a message here?

No track on the issue thus far, sorry.

EDIT: Spoke too soon. Linked my Last.fm today for the first time and it’s working.
