Hi, I’m bad at Internet; I’ve been trying for a few days to find Plexamp’s source code (a repo or just a tar ball) but I haven’t been able to. Can someone please post a link?
Plexamp is not Open Source. Neither is Plex.
Plexamp the client app is, if it uses mpd which is copylefted 
If it doesn’t use mpd, I was misinformed.
(What I’m trying to do really is listen to Plex music in my normal system mpd. I thought if I took a look at the Plexamp source I could figure out a way to do that.)
It doesn’t (anymore).

No. For obvious reasons.

It did use it, but in a way which didn’t encumber to the GPL (separate process).
