Why does my music not download to iPhone when I hit download on Plexamp! I have installed Plex amp on my windows 10 pc and on my iPhone. My music is on my Plex library. Plexamp shows up and works well with CarPlay. I have hit download and it doesn’t work independently. I have to be online. However if I download my library using the Plex app on iPhone it does download to iPhone? Yet it is not as versatile as Plexamp. Is it not possible to use Plexamp offline? Are there any plans? I would pay more for this. Plex is far easier than Apple Music!!

You can download stations, playlists, artists, albums etc. which will show up in the Downloads tab. That section should also be available when you’re fully offline.
However, you cannot access the regular libraries etc. while you’re offline.

Yes that’s what I’m referring to. I suppose I will have to download them to my Plex app? Then I can at least access my music when offline. What a shame it knocks the spots off apple for ease of use!
When you download something it will show up in the Downloads section. I put a screen grab from the downloads sections of Plexamp and circled where to look.
Are you not seeing your songs there? Also for download to work you would need to be connected to the server either over wifi or cel data and you need a plex pass for that feature, to be able to download from your server. Do you have a plex pass?
