PlexConnect doesn't work on Mavericks SERVER (another httpd binds to port 80 before PlexConnect

So apparently on OS X Mavericks Server (10.9.0), EVEN if the server isn't running a website server, it serves up a placeholder page saying "Websites are disabled" and to "contact an administrator to enable this feature in Server." I have full admin rights to the machine it's all running on.

This conflicts DIRECTLY with PlexConnect.

I can kill the processes in charge of the placeholder page, but it quickly turns into a race condition while I work on getting PlexConnect running. I usually have ~5 seconds.

Is there anyone else running into this problem with OS X Mavericks and the Server add-on?

Thanks,

Urban

EDIT: Maybe I should of put "doesn't work SOMETIMES" in the title.

Have you tried disabling Apache in the various launch agent folders?

No I haven't. But thanks for the idea.  :)  I just might try that. That or move the apache port up higher, because I may need it in the future.

Check out the OSX server thread, it will also tell you how you can use Apache with a vhost in place of the PlexConnect webserver (we made an advanced option so you can disable it if you want this kind of setup)
