I meant no disrespect towards anyone. I appreciate everyone’s help and development. All I was trying to say is that I’m trying to help make installations easier. I just wish f00b4r could appreciate what I’m trying to do not knock what I’m developing for free to help installation on various platforms/OS’s. I appreciate his wiki/docs, just please refrain from saying my app is confusing when I spent so much time developing it. Just think of it as a beta that is in the works. I welcome any improvement to the icons if they are confusing but it was just a start. They can be easily changed at anytime to anything. My app works as advertised it may not be pretty but everything works 100%. Plexify is ok but is yet to be released. I’m just working on a different approach using Automator and a web-based cgi plexconnect management option. Peace is all I hope for. If I offended anyone it was not my intention, I respect everyone including f00b4r so please respect my work as well just as I respect yours.

I seem to have stirred up a hornets nest here and all I was trying to do was point out that I’d found the documentation and wiki new user unfriendly and it confused me and I think it would confuse others who knew plex, but nothing about plex connect.
If you think its fine, great!
I’m sat here with no working plex connect, no real idea what I did wrong and an automated process to install that doesn’t run on 10.6.
Oh and no answer to my questions about DNS and xbmc/unblockus on the Apple TV.
It’s hardly the end of the world of course and you guys seem to need to hammer this out.
I’ll pop back in a few days.

I see no issues for XBMC, as for all of the other "native" aTV apps. DNS requests other than trailers, will be forwarded and resolved as usual, by the DNS specified in Settings.cfg.
For unblockus it is essentially the same - you just have to specify the correct (unblockus) DNS server. There should be more post about this here in the forums.

@boomhaueruk if you install teamviewer and send me a private message I might be able to assist you if you like. I’m curious what is preventing plexconnect from working for you.
