PlexConnect not selecting audio track

Most of my files have two audio tracks, one AAC-stereo and one AC3-5.1. Today I decided to select the AAC track before playing the film, but when play started it was the AC3 track being played. I had to press "select" and from the ATV pop-up menu and choose the AAC track. The film then continued with the AAC track. In other words, I could not start the film with the desired audio track, I had to choose the audio track after play started.

PlexConnect version downloaded from GIT Feb/5th @ 12:00 (UK time).

m4v/h264/aac are played natively. We haven't found a way to ship you selections from the PrePlay screen to the player. Same happens when selecting an m4v embedded subtitle...

Many thanks Baa for your reply. I've noticed that the ATV autoselects the AAC track if Dolby Digital is Off, I have not made tests to detect if Dolby Digital equals On will always select the AC3 track by default. By chance do you know what will happen ? (not that I'm lazy to test, I'm currently making tests for the ATV continuously buffering problem and I would prefer to not disperse).

Edit: maybe it's better to hide the Audio/Subs selection icon in the preplay screen, or maintain the icon but giving a message saying "please make your selections during playback using the select key in your remote"

Trouble is - when to hide it?

For m4v - only with embedded subs. For external subs we need that setting, it won't show within the native player.

Bandwidth? Once you start forcing to transcode you need the button...

I know, this doesn't look like the best implementation - but without Apple's help, I don't know how to improve. :-)
