I have plex server setup on my Mac, connected to two atvs using plex connect. Both atvs are jailbroken, one on a lan, and one at a remote location.
I acces the server using my username and password for plex (think this is open plex), and it all works fine for streaming media.
However, it does not store my password on either device, so I have to re login almost time. Is there a way around this, eg to hardcore the password, or a remember me box I am missing?
Password (btw "Token") should be stored in ATVSettings.cfg. Please check if this file gets updated at shutdown...

Is there a way to rewrite the confit file to make sure it keeps the token?
ATVSettings.cfg is stored in the PlexConnect main directory - wherever you put that on your aTV. :-)
Depending on your version of PlexConnect, that settings file should get stored at shutdown (all) and/or when leaving the settings pages (later, about 6-8 weeks old).

I am a bit of a noob with this, so sorry if I am being slow.
If you incorrectly restart the Plex Media Server on the PC (or Apple Mac in my case) does this reset the credentials on the ATV? Does this mean each time my computer crashes or I shut it down without exiting Plex Media Server I will have to reenter the password?
Is there a way to force the atv to use the same username and password on boot? I installed Plex on a jailbroken ATV using the instructions here <https://lanky8804.wordpress.com/2014/07/11/install-plexconnect-on-jailbroken-atv2/>

The "Token" (which is created based on originally input Username/Password) is saved in the ATVsettings.cfg file, this token is still valid even after a reboot of the PMS, PlexConnect or ATV, the only time its not valid is if you remove the device from PMS via Plex Web Devices. And this has nothing to do with the Certificates Loaded on the ATV.
