Hi guys,
This afternoon i bought an apple tv 3 with ios 6.0.2. I have plex server on windows. I followed the installation steps but it nots working.
I have been searching en trying all kinds of solutions from this forum but no luck what so ever. I have been doing this for a couple of hours now.

Never mind. I have decided to bring back the apple tv. I bought an Roku 3 today at Amazon. This does have an plex app on it. Hope it wil work.

As much as I loathe apple devices, the plex channel for the Roku is just terrible. It makes me laugh that the plex connect "exploit" is so far superior.
I think so too. Saw a youtube video of Roku + Plex, it's not very good. Plus, with the ATV you can do a bunch of other neat stuff too, especially when you have other Apple devices...

Totally agree with that.. i was using my MacMini (the new one) as mediacenter with PHT for a while.. mostly to get the fanart, scrop black bars and the theme music to work.. but i gotta say, i think plexconnect is more powerful...
Even Élan has been known to use it
