It would appear that a few people are experiencing slowness within the plexconnect app since the recent updates as you will see from the below post.

Any idea what is the root cause of this and how in the main time you go about reverting back to a previous version of plexconnect... would appear version around 3 weeks ago works a lot quicker.
I am running Ubuntu and not too sure how to revert
the same detected here..
I tried working my way back through previous version to see if I could find out where the problem originated but now it seems to be working with every version. The only thing I did different was that I moved my appletv while I was testing. Try unplugging your appletv for a minute and see if that solves the problem. Perhaps there is a memory issue that only appears after a while.
I have reset ATV but still the same issue - running very slow and getting accessing trailers when select every menu and stays on screen a around 10/20 secs very frustrating any ideas on what would be causing this slowness to occur?
You may want to try an older version. Go to https://github.com/iBaa/PlexConnect and click on the commits button. From there you can get any of the previous versions of plexconnect. I suggest trying Sep. 24. That was the one I tried first and it fixed my problem even before I did the reset.
