As I thought. The first image is hosted elsewhere. I think the hotmail image proxy doesn't like the port you are using for your website and is not getting the image. I'm not sure what can be done with hotmail right now since it seems to have issue with attaching a large amount of images directly and their image proxy being super strict.
I'll look into implementing a third option for images: Uploading to an image hosting site (i.e. Imgur) then using those in the email.
Awesome! Wasn't sure you had access to the default http port, but glad you do and it's working. I think I will still implement the option to upload to imgur for people who do not have that option or a web server.
This might be outside the scope of what you envisioned this for but would there be a way to configure it to gather recently added based on the number hours instead (or in addition to) of days?
Currently I'm using it to send a daily update, there are 2 options, setting the days to 1 or 0. If I set it to 1 there is overlap everyday, if I set it to 0 anything added after the email is sent will never get included in an email as the next one will be the next day. Does that make sense?
I envision being able to set it to 24 hours, and if I send a daily update out at 5:00pm, it would only include things added since yesterday at 5:00pm.
Like I said if it's out of scope no biggie, just curious it if was possible.
I'm really digging being able to notify my friends about what's been added recently like this. It's great. Thank you for all the hard work you put into this.

Good idea, didn't really cross my mind for daily newsletters when I was doing this. Here is the latest release:
